What happens in our Weight Management Programme
and who is it for?
Our weight management programme is specifically aimed towards clients who wish to reduce their weight and are experiencing issues with their relationship with food.
This weight management programme is for you if your weight reduction goal is in this area and/or if you are experiencing one of more of the following:
- Addiction to sugar
- Unable to stop picking and nibbling
- Health issues that would benefit from weight reduction
- Over eating
- Insatiable appetite
- Obsession with food
- Eating too fast
- Yoyo dieting
- Emotional eating
- Depressed about your weight issues
Having an efficient digestive system is crucial to our physical and emotional well-being. Unfortunately, when we have an unhealthy relationship with food, this can create a negative impact on all areas of our life and lead to anxiety and depression, low energy levels, insomnia and muscle loss.
It is in our intestine that many of our hormones are produced and we need the environment within our digestive system to be as healthy as possible by eating healthily, slowly and consciously.
Unfortunately, often due to childhood influences, we have developed bad eating habits and link food to emotions but this mindset can be easily changed through simple reprogramming of the subconscious mind, with excellent and permanent results, using a combination of hypnosis, NLP and CBT.
What’s the difference between this programme and Virtual Gastric Band?
The key difference between the Virtual Gastric Band (VGB) and Weight Management programme is the weight loss goal. VGB is for clients looking to lose 11kg or more and Weight Management is for clients looking to lose 5kg to 10kg ie that stubborn post-baby weight or last few pounds when trying to get to a more healthy weight.
Due to weight loss difference, the number of hours of therapy required differ – 8 hours approximately for VGB and 4 hours approximately for Weight Management – but both are tailored to the individual client’s requirements and goals.
